These animals are traditionally reared for their meat. The chickens have access to a large outdoor run.
Laying hens hop about and peck up a few grains here and there. They also roam freely in the meadow. This results in lovely eggs with a dark yolk that is very tasty.
You decide how you would like them cut: whole, filleted or in half.
